MogoTXT Offers Free Amie Street Music Downloads

San Francisco, Calif., July 31, 2008--MogoTXT, Inc. announced today that it has launched a new promotion with Amie Street, a DRM-free music download site, to offer free music to MogoTXT members.

New MogoTXT members will receive $2 of free music they can instantly download to their computers and then load into the music players of their choice (such as Apple iPods and Microsoft Zunes).

MogoTXT Will Build Fan Followings for Upcoming Artists

MogoTXT has created some text groups for bands and also allows anyone to easily set up text messaging groups of unlimited size on its website at www.mogotxt.com. MogoTXT is tying featured Amie Street artists and renowned jazz and blues musicians into its new group chat features.

Now that MogoTXT members can organize free text messaging groups of unlimited size, MogoTXT will help start new fan groups based around upcoming indie artists including Cat Power, Vampire Weekend, Thom Yorke, and many others.

This is a great way to establish fanship as well as to cue people into the latest music in their favorite genres. MogoTXT provides a mobile forum for people with similar tastes in music to communicate. MogoTXT offers advanced group texting features that enable users to easily join, invite others to join, drop out, and rejoin their text message groups, while on the go or from their computer. They can chat about music, new favorite artists, upcoming concerts, and carpooling to concerts on MogoTXT’s channels any time or anywhere—it’s messaging that goes where you go.

MogoTXT Introduces Free, Mobile-to-Mobile, Group Texting to and from any cell phone and the Apple iPod Touch

San Francisco, Calif., June 4, 2008—Do you want to send text messages free of charge? To one person, or to groups of people? From any cell phone to any other cell phone? From your web browser? Or even from your Apple iPod Touch to any other Apple iPod Touch or to any cell phone?

With today's announcement, MogoTXT, Inc., a San Mateo, California-based mobile messaging company, is first to offer unlimited, free, one-to-one and group texting messaging to and from any cell phone or Apple iPod Touch.

Here is how it works

Log on to MogoTXT.com and for a free account. Now you can use your web browser, your cell phone or your Apple iPod Touch to send text messages for free. In order to prevent SPAM, your friends must also be registered with MogoTXT. MogoTXT is advertiser-supported. You write and send a text message. We attach a short ad at the bottom of each message you send. We also ask you to view a very small number of other ads each month via text message. Our advertisers pay for your messages and there is no membership fee.

MogoTXT has created a Messaging Console and other features to help you manage your mobile lifestyle

MogoTXT has created a Messaging Console that you can use to communicate with up to five different groups simultaneously. The Messaging Console also allows you to manage your mobile lifestyle by enabling you to invite and add new contacts, block undesired contacts, and to direct incoming messages to your computer or to your mobile device as you prefer. MogoTXT has also created other features that enable you to join or drop out of text message groups while on the go.

MogoTXT unlocks the Apple iPod Touch for texting

For the first time ever, a user of an Apple iPod Touch can send one-to-one or group text messages to other Apple iPod Touch users or to cell phone users. A user does not need to have a cell phone account or a cell phone number to send text messages using MogoTXT since the user will not pay for the messages. In the near future, MogoTXT's users will be able to send text messages using any networked or WiFi-enabled device networks—such as the Nintendo DS, Sony PSP, Nintendo Wii and other video game consoles.

Works on all major networks

MogoTXT can deliver text messages to subscribers of all major cell phone carriers in the United States, such as Alltel, AT&T, Cellular One, Nextel, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. Please note, however, that Verizon is not currently allowing its subscribers to participate in MogoTXT's group text messaging service. MogoTXT hopes to soon be able to offer group text messaging service to Verizon's subscribers.
