Founded in 1994, SLAM Magazine is building towards this Fall's 15th anniversary issue while maintaining its position as the most popular basketball magazine in the world. In both it's monthly print product as well as its increasingly popular website (SLAMonline.com), SLAM has made its mark by featuring all aspects of the game.

From cover stories featuring exclusive interviews and photo shoots with the biggest stars in the NBA, to profiles of all the best high school players in the country, to coverage of the top college and international players as well as its famed KICKS section with the latest shoes, SLAM delivers everything a basketball fan could need. SLAMonline has embraced this role as well, with entertaining and opionionated columnists offering fresh takes on all levels of the game on a daily basis.

SLAM, which is distributed all over the world and also licenses a Chinese language version, features some of the best writers and photographers in the industry, including monthly contributions from a high school senior (currently Xavier Henry), a NBA rookie (currently MogoTXT's very own Eric Gordon of the L.A. Clippers) and Josh Childress, currently a star for the Greek team Olympiakos.

SLAM has probably made its biggest mark on basketball culture with some of its iconic covers, including LeBron James as the NBA logo and Allen Iverson with his hair in an Afro (both pictured), while SLAMonline's biggest impact online has probably come from its Top 50 player countdown (slamonline.com/online/category/nba/slamonline-top-50/) and its Links blog, written by Lang Whitaker (slamonline.com/online/category/blogs/the-links/).
