Stuart Holden is a Scottish-born American soccer player who is playing in his first World Cup.


During the past two seasons, Stuart has emerged as one of the best young attacking players in the United States.


When he is not playing for the USA National Team, Stuart plays for the Bolton Wanderers of the English Premier League.


Stuart's family moved to Sugar Land, Texas from Scotland when Jay was 10 years old. Jay played college soccer for two years at Clemson University.
