Jordan Farmar plays Point Guard for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Jordan played college basketball for UCLA and was considered one of the elite collegiate point guards in the country. Jordan was named to the all Pac-10 and all Pac-10 Tournament teams, and led the UCLA Bruins to the National Championship game against the Florida Gators in the 2006 NCAA Tournament.

Jordan declared for the NBA Draft on April 20, 2006, and was selected by the Lakers with the 26th overall pick of the 2006 NBA Draft. During his rookie season, Jordan earned significant playing time and established himself as a reliable and productive player in the NBA despite Coach Phil Jackson's well-known reluctance to play rookies.

Jordan's role and productivity with the Lakers have increased each season. Jordan was a vital part of the Lakers' run to the NBA Finals in 2008, and he looks forward to helping lead the Lakers to a return trip to the NBA Finals and to an NBA Championship in 2009.

Jordan writes a weekly blog which can be read at PlayBoy.com

Jordan also maintains a website at http://www.farmarlive.com
