Marques Colston is a Wide Receiver with the New Orleans Saints.

Marques is one of the most talented receivers in the NFL, and is one of Drew Brees’ favorite targets. Seven games into the current 2009 NFL season, Marques has 6 TD receptions and the New Orleans Saints have 7 wins.

Despite being a 7th round pick in the 2006 NFL draft (252nd overall), Marques started the first game of his rookie season and led the NFL in receiving yards (869) and TDs (7) through the first nine regular season games. In 2006, Marques tied with Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew for second in voting for Offensive Rookie of the Year behind Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young.

Marques holds the NFL record for most receptions in a player’s first two seasons with 168 catches, and is widely considered one of the biggest draft steals in NFL history. Before the NFL, Marques played college football at Hofstra University.
