Steven Cherundolo is an American soccer player who plays defender.


This is Stevens second World Cup appearance for the USA National Team.


When he is not playing for the USA National Team, Steven plays for Hannover of the German Bundesliga. Steven is a veteran player for Hannover. Steven is highly thought of at Hannover and serves as one of two team Deputy Captains.


Steven grew up in San Diego and attended Mt. Carmel High School in Rancho Penasquitos. Steven played two years of college soccer at the University of Portland before joining Hannover.
