LaMarcus Aldridge plays Power Forward and Center for the Portland Trailblazers.

LaMarcus played college basketball for the University of Texas Longhorns during the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 seasons.

LaMarcus declared for NBA Draft in April 2006 and was drafted 2nd overall in the 2006 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls. Shortly thereafter, the Bulls traded their draft rights to LaMarcus to the Portland Trail Blazers for Tyrus Thomas and Viktor Khryapa.

Following his rookie season in 2007, LaMarcus was selected to the NBA All-Rookie First Team, an honor given to the NBA's top rookies. LaMarcus then achieved career highs in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals in his sophomore year and he continues to improve as a player in his third year in the NBA.
