Mike Mohamed plays football for the California Golden Bears.



Mike (also known as “MikeyMo”) currently plays college football at the University of California Berkeley and is one of the Golden Bears’ most experienced players. Over the last three seasons Mike has played in all 39 games possible, with 16 starts.



Mike has been honored three times on the Pac-10 All-Academic team, earning first-team recognition in the last two campaigns. Mike has also been named Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week three times (once in 2008 and twice in 2009).



Mike is the University of California’s active career leader with 245 tackles (150 unassisted, 95 assisted) and their active career leader in interceptions with six picks that he has returned for 36 yards and one touchdown.



Mike was born in Brawley, CA and played high school football at Brawly High where he helped lead the team to the CIF section championship game and semifinals during each of his last two years. Mike is a member of the San Diego Hall of Champions defensive team and was named the Imperial Valley Defensive Player of the Year as a senior.



Born March 11, 1988, this young linebacker has a bright future ahead of him with a lot potential when it comes to football. Many fans anticipate that Mike, with his fierce talent, will be playing in the NFL after finishing out his career with the Golden Bears this 2010-2011 season.
