Marquice Cole is a cornerback for the New York Jets of the NFL.
Marquice Jermal Cole was born November 13, 1983 in Hazel Crest, Illinois. He played high school football at Hillcrest High where he was a two-time all-conference, all-area and all-state selection, the 2001 team MVP and the SICA Green Defensive Player of the Year.
Marquice played NCAA football at Northwestern University. He played in 43 career games with the Wildcats, was a four-year letter winner, was named to the Thorpe Award preseason Watch List prior to his senior season and was the team's fastest player.
Marquice was signed by the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in the 2007 NFL Draft. He was also a member of the Tennessee Titans and the New Orleans Saints, before signing with the New York Jets on February 17, 2009.
Marquice saw his first NFL action in 2009 with the Jets; he played in 11 games during his first season with the team. On January 26, 2011 Marquice signed a one-year contract with the Jets.
