Eric's Bio

Eric Bjornson is a former NFL and University of Washington football player.



Eric Bjornson was born on Dec. 15, 1971 in San Francisco, CA. Eric played quarterback for Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland, CA.



From 1991-1994 Eric played college football for the Washington Huskies, playing both quarterback and wide receiver. He helped the team amass a 43-12 record from 1990-94, attend three Rose Bowls as the PAC-10 Champion and capture the 1991 national title. As a senior, Eric earned second-team All-PAC 10 honors at wide receiver.



Eric was drafted in the 4th round of the 1995 NFL draft by the Dallas Cowboys as a tight end, and won a Super Bowl ring with the Cowboys in 1996. He would go on to sign with the New England Patriots as an unrestricted free agent on Feb. 29, 2000.
